Located near the beautiful village of Rathvilly on the County Carlow/Wicklow borders, Courtyard Cottage was originally the wing of a Victorian country house which was built in 1846.

The cottage has a large double bedroom with bathroom en-suite (containing both bath and shower), sitting room with open log fire, French windows leading on to a courtyard and a door leading on to a large lawn at the other side. There is a television with all English channels as well as Irish and a DVD player. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

There are fitted wool carpets throughout and all basic provisions, towels, linen, oil, logs and electricity are included in the price. If needed there is a double bedroom with bathroom in the main house which may be used if there are 4 people travelling together. The cottage has equipment for 4 people.
